Can you Handlebar

Like any good story of American entrepreneurship, ours starts in a garage. In 2012, the first batches of Can You Handlebar Moustache Wax were produced in a crock pot our founder Doug Geiger stole from his wife Jordon and the ingredients were paid for with $400 he placed on a credit card. After considerable trial and error he found himself with a product he was happy with, that worked well, and could stand up to daily use. Can You Handlebar was born.

Soon after, we developed our first beard product, a beard balm leave-in conditioner dubbed “Dry Oil”. It followed the same pattern as the wax, produced from natural ingredients and with attention to detail at every level. From the lightweight, satiny texture to the balance of the oils used, the goal was to create a product that guaranteed a complete and healthy conditioning of the beard and the skin below. We soon noticed a growing audience for our products, the packaging and the hands-on approach.

The Art of Shaving opened two new stores in Dubai in the fourth quarter of 2019 at Level Shoes (The Dubai Mall) and Dubai Festival Plaza taking it to a total of 5 stores in Dubai.

At The Art of Shaving, you can now experience the brand’s diverse variety of products for head to toe grooming. Shaving consultants will help clients navigate through the signature 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave collections, facial hair, skin care, body care, fragrances, and newly introduced hair styling products.

In addition to the retail setup, this location also features a Barber Spa, which offers men an indulgent grooming experience in a luxurious and masculine environment. Master Barber are expertly trained to provide a range of services using The Art of Shaving products and pure essential oils to leave clients well-groomed and ready for the day. Guests can treat themselves to the brand’s signature Royal Shave or traditional barber services like a shave, haircut, head shave, or facial hair shaping and styling.

The Merchant of Venice, the renowned Venetian brand of artistic perfumery is delighted to open its doors outside of Italy for the first time on June 26, 2018 at the new luxury fragrance destination Perfumery & Co in the Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue. Stemming from the prestigious perfume museum in Venice at Palazzo Mocenigo and having a strong connection to its rich historical roots, The Merchant of Venice expresses the beautiful heritage of Venice. The launch was attended by world-renowned master perfumer, Alexandra Monet, and CEO, Marco Vidal.

The luxurious perfume brand is heavily influenced by the early Renaissance and ancient Venetian perfumery art. The scents encapsulate the amalgamation of spices and aromas brought into Venice through different trade routes. Reflecting the iconic history, The Merchant of Venice represents unique and sophisticated perfume lines suitable for every occasion and for both genders.

The concept of this boutique is in line with the ones previously designed by Pier Luigi Pizzi, the internationally acclaimed theatre set designer who already authored the restyling of the exhibition in the Perfume Museum, in Palazzo Mocenigo, Venice. Inside, customers can immerse themselves in the world of The Merchant of Venice, with offerings ranging from exclusive Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette, along with body care, room products and accessories. The fragrances are inspired by ancient Venetian perfumery art and bottled in elegant design packages that are reminiscent of the millenary tradition of Murano glass. Guests can also act roles of master perfumer by combining and creating their own scents, and in the process discovering the ancient secrets of a timeless tradition.
